Make Your Very Own Lavazza Coffee Syrup for Ice Cream

July 30, 2014

Ice cream on summer’s day is a given but instead of going for the boring toppings available everyday, why not make this dessert a bit more special with homemade toppings. One of my favorite ways to spruce up my vanilla ice cream is with coffee. In just 30 minutes, you’ll have a delicious recipe so easy you’ll wonder why you’ve been buying coffee syrups at the store.

You’ll Need:
1. 1 Cup of strong brewed Lavazza Coffee
2. 1 cup of sugar

Directions:
Pour the coffee and syrup in a small saucepan and heat until gentle boil, stirring constantly.

Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until sauce thickens and reduces.

Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Drizzle over vanilla ice cream and serve.
