Lindsay Lohan Theia Dress

I’m officially jumping off the Lindsay Lohan train because she’s headed for wreckatude.  Yes! I said wreckatude.  The actress is so broke and down on her luck that she asked Charlie Sheen to foot the bill for a stylist to dress her for the amfAR gala, held in New York City two weeks ago.  Out of the goodness of his heart, Sheen decided to pay for half the Liz & Dick actress’s dress.  Sheen hired celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch to outfit her for the event but she decided to forgo spending money and instead borrow from one of the few designers willing to loan anything to her.

She wore the ill-fitting beaded Theia gown – retail price of $1750 – for the amfAR Gala.  This is probably the best I’ve seen her in recent memory so she’s forgiving for the lack of tailoring.  Of course after a big event, there is always a swanky after-party to let loose.  Lohan had managed to rip the dress when she got to the after party so she and her friend decided modify it a bit so she wouldn’t look disheveled at the party.

Enter a scissor wielding bouncer, who handed Lohan some scissors to work her magic on the dress she had borrowed.  After all she did design a collection for Emanuel Ungaro back in 2009.  She followed the asymmetrical trend and made herself a mullet dress right in the club. Shaking my head! So yea, Lindsay decided it was a good idea to return the dress in it’s altered and tatted shape.  No thank you note included. She ain’t no Beyonce now!
