This weekend marks the second year that
Tysons Galleria will host is very successful
All Access Fashion Weekend. The high end mall, which houses fabulous boutiques like Chanel, Ferragamo, Bally, Cartier, Neiman Marcus, Saks and much more will kick off the second annual All Access Fashion weekend on Thursday with a luxury panel discussion that had retailers, fashion writers and buyers thinking of how to stay a step ahead of the recession while keeping profits up while at the same time keeping consumers happy and purchasing. What has me excited however is the anticipated debut of Paul Sinclaire's
Sinclaire 10 Fall/Winter 2010 collection for his label
Sinclaire 10, on Friday evening.
Paul Sinclaire is a fashion insider, respected and revered by the fashion industry. He got his start as a stylist at Vogue magazine. Over the years, he's worked as a consultant for highly regarded fashion houses, including: Christian Dior, Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana. He also worked at various magazines throughout the '90s including
L’Uomo Vogue, Italian Vogue and
Arena. He then served as executive vice president of design for Club Monaco then moved on to president of design at Tevrow + Chase. He has extensive knowledge of womenswear and what women truly desire in their closets. Paul has partnered with
Saks Fifth Avenue to create an exclusive collection,
Sinclaire 10, which debuted earlier this Spring.
Sinclaire 10 received high praise from fashion critics and though many Washingtonians have not heard of the line, you'll soon be racing to your nearest Saks Fifth Avenue store to purchase a crisp white statement making blouse.
Mr. Sinclaire, who owns a house in Georgetown, is no stranger to the city. He comes back ones again bearing not only a classic collection of timeless pieces that women will treasure and pass down to their fashion loving girls but also with Hollywood A-list costume designer and stylist Patricia Field. On Friday, October 1, Mr. Sinclaire will debut his Fall/Winter 2010 collection of well tailored dresses and separates that epitomize the Washington socialite. In attendance will be the woman who made Carrie Bradshaw a fashion icon, Patricia Field. Ms. Fields will be the guest of honor at the event and will meet and mingle with guests after the show at a VIP reception at Saks Fifth Avenue in Tysons Galleria.
The entire weekend of All Access Fashion is a must attend for fashion aficionados and those looking to update their wardrobe. Bringing Washingtonians a compacted overview of the season's best trends, must haves and a taste of Fashion Week, All Access Fashion is a hot ticket item that will not cost a thing. All the events are free to the public. Escape from your weekend routine with a day of fashions shows, nab some goodies in different lounges and attend book signings and other fun activities throughout Tysons Galleria.
