Style Icon | Lauren Conrad in Eva Franco

September 27, 2010

We’ll admit it–we’ve loved Lauren Conrad since the Laguna Beach days. With her long, windswept blonde hair and seemingly effortless style, even seventeen year old “L.C” was an icon for young girls everywhere.

Lauren’s done some growing up in the seven years since her premiere on “The Real Orange County,” and so has her fashion sense. Still effortless, this starlet always knows how to mix girly glam with urban chic. We loved this look that she wore to a recent Dior luncheon, so we took it upon ourselves to do what we with big eyes and small budgets do best–recreate.

Lauren wore Eva Franco’s Mullany dress, a special edition print available now at Anthropologie. She paired the fitted frock with classic black open toe pumps and her signature Chanel 2.55. We love her exact outfit, and put it together accordingly. For the more frugal fashionistas, we threw in some more affordable, less O.C variations.

We would love to splurge on the Eva Franco number and save on shoes from Nordstrom and a bucket purse from Hobo International. Or, snag a similarly patterned dress from Forever 21 and invest in the Badgley Mischka cross-body bag.

However you choose to rock it, this put-together look is a win. Don’t forget Lauren’s red lips for an eye-popping touch of color!
