On my recent trip to New York City, I went to Berdgorf Goodman to interview their social media gal, who took me to the contemporary floor to put together looks for the first post-college interview. Among the many beautiful things I coveted on 5F were a pair of loafers from a brand I had never heard of. Woman by Common Projects is a new collection of men-inspired shoes by two men, Peter Poopat and Flavio Girolam, who sought to create classic, minimalist shoes for the everyday man. Common Projects has created mens shoes for a few years and ventured into designing women’s shoes late last year. I fell in love with these oiled-canvas brogues and had to find out more about the Woman by Common Projects collection.
