Matthew Williamson for H&M Collection Preview

March 28, 2009

In December of last year, H&M unveiled their newest designer collaboration – Matthew Williamson. It’s been three months and H&M has finally revealed some the pieces in the collection.

From what I’ve seen so far of this collection, I am certain its going to sell out fast. Matthew Williamson delivers an outstanding collection that stays true to his resort and colorful style that women have been coveting for years. Looking chic this spring is easier than ever and something that will not break the bank.

Williamson’s collection is my favorite H&M designer collaboration so far and I’m not the only one who thinks so. All over the blogosphere, fashion bloggers are touting Williamson’s collection as an intant hit, even better and more mainstream than Commes des Garcons.

To rememdy the frenzy that will likely ensue, H&M will be dropping the collection into stores in two installments. The first is a limited edition collection hitting stores in only 200 stores on April 23.

The second rollout will be on May 14 in 1,700 stores. Ladies, this is going to be huge. Can you tell me what you don’t like about this collection? Nothing! The maxi dress is going to cost a pretty penny, almost $300 but it’s worth it to own a little piece from the designer. A dress like this from his higher end collection will cost you about $3,000.
