Hi Friends! I hope you’re enjoying your week so far. We’ve been tackling some indoor projects to prep the apartment for my upcoming birthday party later this month. By we, I mean I have been purging and organizing.  I still had to reset out second bedroom after my little brother and niece’s visit two weeks ago.  Our next door neighbor gifted us a bar that T and I will be upcycling it to make it something fabulous for our kitchen/dining room.  Gosh, I still have not done an apartment tour for you all to see the layout of our space.  I plan on doing that in the next few weeks.  We’ve also been working on the backyard and trying to figure out how to make it homey without putting in too much work.  After all, we are renting…for now.

I wore this dress last week after finding it in my summer trunk.  Good ‘ole spring purges. My mom got this dress for me last summer from Eloquii but I wasn’t able to take it to Cuba with me so I decided to pull it out and take it out for a spin with Havana on my mind. If you’re planning a trip this summer, make it Havana.  And check out my guide here. The billowy dress has a drop waist, which somehow does not look too good on my curvy figure.  But thanks to my red Chanel belt, I was able to cinch perfectly.  The dress is sold out completely.  I wore it with these ultra comfy bow sandals I snagged from H&M.  It’s only $32.99 and also comes in pink and red.  They’d be perfect for a spring wedding.
