Gucci RTW FW 2014

“I felt the need to materialize the essence of Gucci. A longing for precision [and] clean lines,” stated Gucci’s Frida Giannini. She tapped into the casual side of Gucci’s heritage. Giannini showed snug pea-coats, hugged pullovers and button-downs, and pants tapered above the ankle to show off loafer hybridized with a Chelsea boot shoes. Sleeveless dresses with sharp, above-the-knee hems had a youthful look, as well as the A-line dresses soft napa leather poppy pastels colors. Giannini and Gucci really came full circle this season.
