Tweezerman Partners with Isaac Mizrahi

July 24, 2013

tweezerman01Tweezerman is partnering with fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi for its fifth Limited Edition Designer Series Collection.

“Isaac is an American design superstar,” said Conny Wittke, chief executive officer and president of Tweezerman International. “His designs are fun and whimsical, so they work well on surfaces like ours. More importantly, he really believes in high-performance tools, which is very important to us. He’s a fan of the Tweezerman brand and products.”

The tweezers will come in both of Mizrahi’s limited-edition patterns, Splatter Paint and Candy Buttons, and the nail file will come in the Candy Buttons polka dot print. The five-piece range will be priced at $5 for the Filemate Nail File, $15 for the Mini Slant Tweezers and $25 for the full-size Slant Tweezers.

“Tweezers are really important in the arsenal of beauty products. You notice when a brow is wrong,” said Isaac Mizrahi. “[Tweezerman] has the best product. That’s why we have this partnership.”

Starting in August, the collection will be available exclusively at Sephora and online at sephora.com. According to Wittke, the collection will be promoted through an advertising campaign, social media, in-store focus units and an in-store event at Sephora’s store in Times Square next month where consumers will be able to meet Mizrahi and purchase the designer tweezers.

Wittke also revealed that a new Tweezerman facial hair remover product is in the works and will be launching in early 2014.
