Actress Cameron Diaz is adding another title to the resume and it’s one that is a bit unexpected. She has been tapped by shoes and accessories brand Pour La Victoire to be its artistic director.
“I’m interested in learning how collections are created. I want to say that it’s going to be fun, but it’s deeper than that,” the actress told WWD.
Diaz, who owns a stake in Pour la Victoire’s parent company, will be involved with designing both the handbag and shoe collections, as well as merchandising, marketing, and advertising.
Her first collection for the brand won’t hit stores until next spring, but in the meantime she’ll be selecting products for “Cameron’s Picks” this fall and holiday season, and will also be reigning in “friends and associates” to wear the product, according to Pour la Victoire’s CEO Chris Nakatani.
