Skin sensitivity issues are no joke, especially when you consider the plethora of products on the market. Finding the right fit can be daunting when face creams and skin lotions feel like you’re torching your face with fire. Brands sometimes get you with their fancy names, fancy ingredients and exorbitant prices. Sometimes your skin care solution is right on your drug store counter.
When the weather went from icy to warm this spring, my skin felt schizophrenic. Finding the right balance was easy with four Eucerin products I now can’t live without. To gently remove debris and makeup, I use the Eucerin Gentle Hydrating Cleanser morning and night. This cleanser doesn’t leave my face feeling dry or filmy. With its soap-free, fragrance-free, non-comedogenic properties, it also never clogs my pores, not even during that “time of month.”
For a few weeks my skin was very dry and itchy. I wasn’t sure if it was my change of detergent or cleaning agents used in my dry cleaning. All I knew was that I was scratching my legs non-stop. Even my mom noticed the scaly ashy texture on my legs. She suggested I try something with oatmeal in it so I reached for the Eucerin Skin Calming Daily Moisturizing Creme, which I take everywhere with me because it’s in a tube.
For night time moisturization, I turn to the Eucerin Daily Replenishing Lotion, which keeps my skin supple and hydrated. I normally use the Eucerin Daily Protection SPF 15 moisturizing body lotion during the day to give me sun protection (info coming soon). I apply right after I get out of the shower so it penetrates deep to protect my skin. I love this lotion because it’s fragrance and dye free, perfect for my sensitive skin. It’s also the best for layering on your perfume after the shower.
Last but not least, I can’t live without my Eucerin Daily Protection SPF 30 Moisturizing Face Lotion, which gives me sun protection. It is not greasy at all and doesn’t clog my pores. I also reapply after working out because I sweat so much.
The best part about all these products is that they work, very well. With a 100 year old reputation for being the go to by dermatologists and moms. Try them and tell me what you think. Have you tried any Eucerin products? Which is your favorite?
