For her fall 2013 collection, Carolina Herrera re-imagined 1940s heroine. From hair and makeup to the clothes and accessories, the Carolina Herrera fall woman is Old Hollywood. Starting with the Fourties victory-roll hair down to the super nipped waist skirts and dresses, we couldn’t help but fall in love with the generous silhouette. This is a collection that women of all shapes can wear without looking over worked. With Anna Wintour in the front row, Mrs. Herrera did not skimp on fur. One of the collection’s major statements was certainly fur – in rich tones like turquoise. Additionally, there was an emphasis on tiny waists and full skirts. The collection left Style.com wondering: “Who knew Zuzanna Bijoch could do such a passable Katharine Hepburn?”
