Vampires are so trendy right now, especially with the popularity of True Blood, Fifty Shades of Grey, Twilight Saga and The Vampire Diaries. It’s no wonder Hollywood starlets are embracing the trend on the red carpet. At last night’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, six actresses opted for bold and deep wine stained lip stains to compliment their gowns for the occasion.
Of course we would have loved to see some bold pink hues on lips as homage to Schiaparelli but Bordeaux-stained lips wasn’t too bad. Lana Del Rey, Kate Bosworth, Jessica Chastain, Camilla Belle, Leighton Meester and Jessica Alba led the coven pack by sinking their teeth into gothic lipsticks. What do you think of this trend?
