One thing Washington, DC based store Fornash does best is accessories. The selection of in season jewelry is by far one of the best in the city, which is why I was so excited to stop by their booth during the Accessories Show earlier this year to check out what’s in store for spring. It’s all about repping the prep at Fornash ladies. Lovely enamel bracelets with horse-bit motifs, colorful leather bracelets for layering and many monogramable pieces had me revamping my jewelry box just to make room for some of the pieces I saw.
Among my favorite bracelets were the whimsical animal bangles that continue to hit store shelves each spring. Fornash has these bangles in an assortment of colors and animals, including zebras, elephants and tigers. The Zebra was my favorite, though the elephant bangles came in a close second.
Statement making necklaces are on trend this season and Fornash has a few to choose from. My favorite was this confection of pearls, flowers, beads, crystals and chains all grouped together to create an ornate piece that will look stunning with any of the cocktail frocks for the horse races or just a plain jeans, t-shirt and blazer.
Fornash is moving locations from Georgetown, DC to Ballston Commons in Arlington so make sure you swing by to check out their spring jewelry collection. The prices are affordable so you can snag up a few pieces to layer.
