Longchamp Introduces First Full Footwear Collection for Fall

March 22, 2012

French handbag and accessories label Longchamp has launched its first full shoe collection to compliment its line of handbags.  For Fall 2012, the brand will unveil 55 shoes, to include wedge lace-ups, boots and booties and oxfords, ranging in price from $285 to $735.

“The shoes are totally complementary to the bags and the ready-to-wear as they are part of the Longchamp woman’s silhouette and we want to continue to expand this product category and concept,” said artistic director Sophie Delafontaine.  She also said that boots in the line use the same leathers as the bag and mimic the shape of the equestrian saddle.

The Longchamp footwear collection will be available in starting in July.
