Kate Mara’s Must Have Items for Spring 2012

For the next few weeks, I will be presenting the must have items of some of my favorite celebrities, socialites, fashion personalities and magazine editors.  For the inaugural issue in this series, I asked actress Kate Mara, American Horror Story, 127 Hours, Iron Man 2 and We Are Marshalls, about the items she’s coveting for spring.

1.  “I want to get a great clutch that you can put your phone, keys, and money.  Something not too fancy that can go from day to night.”

2.  “A little light jacket. Most of my leather jackets are too heavy to wear in the hot weather so I want to get a cream colored leather jacket that’s light enough for spring and summer.”

Kate also gave us her tips on looking fresh faced when she’s not hitting the red carpet or other high profile events.  A little mascara and tinted moisturizer is all she needs when on the go.

“I’m very simple. All I put on is mascara and Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and ran out of the door.”
