In Kate Middleton style spotting news, the svelte Duchess of Cambridge wore a figure flattering dark teal suit from LK Bennett to Leicester, where the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee UK tour was kicked off this morning. Kate accompanied the Queen and Prince Philip to the De Montfort University an attended a fashion show, church service and a lunch. Kate even got the chance to judge a shoe design contest in which she got to pick her favorite to be worn on one of her Diamond Jubilee tour events.
Kate’s wore the Davina dress in dark teal with a the Jude Jacket, both by LK Bennett for the special occasion. She wore black suede pumps by Episode, sold exclusively at House of Frasier. With her hair styled half up, Kate wore a black James Lock ‘Fairy Tale’ fascinator, which also comes in seven other colors.
Kate’s peplum silhouette is on trend for this spring but we had to give a nod to the late Princess Diana, who loved to rock a good peplum back in the late 80s. Both ladies look impeccable for their time and I love that Kate is really giving different silhouettes a try. This suit is very flattering on her.
