White isn’t reserved for brides anymore, as we witnessed some of Hollywood’s A-list celebrities rocking elegant gowns in that color for the 84th Annual Academy Awards tonight.  Leading the pack was actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who sizzled in a white Tom Ford gown with a matching cape.  She looked like a super hero with her hair pulled back and a large cuff. Presenter Milla Jovovich looked radiant in an embellished one shoulder Elie Saab Couture with an Edie Parker clutch; Shailene Woodley (whom I adore dearly) chose a sleek long sleeved gown from Valentino; The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo actress Rooney Mara wore a sleevless v-plunging gown by Givenchy Couture.

It seems making her rounds during Paris couture week did Cameron Diaz some good because her off white, strapless Gucci gown was stellar.  Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer looked radiant in an embellished cream gown from her go-to designer, Tadashi Soji, who she’s worn all awards season.  Jennifer Lopez took a big risk with a tight, body-con gown by Zuhair Murad.  Kelly Rippa wore a wispy mint (we know it’s not really cream but close enough) gown by Carolina Herrera.
