Get Married in Bella Swan’s Wedding Gown with a Replica from Alfred Angelo

November 22, 2011

It was only a matter of time before someone knocked off the Carolina Herrera gown specially designed for Bella Swan to wear in  Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I.  The original gown from the movie is made of satin and lace and has 100 buttons going down the back.

The design is about “the magic and the moment that is the wedding, and also about her (Bella’s) personality, which is very important in a wedding gown,” Herrera told the Associated Press. “She is this very innocent girl that is believing in her first true love and there is romance and there is fantasy and mystery. I took all that into consideration.”

The Twilight franchise gave exclusive rights to bridal atelier Alfred Angelo to create a replica for mass production.  The design team also worked with Herrera to create this exquisite long sleeved gown, which comes in sizes 0 to 30W, and retails for $799.  There are plans to roll out a Twilight inspired bridesmaids collection as well.
