[Tailor Made] James Franco is Face of Gucci’s Made to Measure Service

October 18, 2011

Sookie! Sookie! If it isn’t the most thought provoking, artistic and fascinating thespian of my generation.  Actor James Franco, who has been a brand ambassador for Gucci for several seasons has been tapped for the Italian fashion house’s latest venture, a made-to-measure collection. The renaissance man, who took a step back out of the limelight after the Twitter and Academy Awards hosting drama, steps back into the spotlight looking as dapper as ever in tailor made suits.
Big spenders looking for (almost) one of a kind suits for work or special occassions will have the choice of 82 fabrics including cashmere, wool and mohair.  That’s 178 possible combinations of colors and fabrics people.  Wall Street tycoons and jet setting playboys can stock their closets with suits that are individual as their wearers.  Splurging on the Gucci Made to Measure means you get a luxe satin lining with your initials, name or the Gucci logo. Yea that’s posh!
The MADE TO MEASURE service is completed by a customized selection of shirts from which the client may choose a fit from a complete existing proposal of recognizable Gucci silhouettes in a wide range of fabrics and colors – 26 textiles allowing for 66 possible combinations of colors and fabrics. In addition, Gucci offers a MADE TO ORDER service for signature men’s shoes – allowing for selection of the material, color, width, as well as embossing of one’s initials. [GUCCI]
