Fashion Flashback | James Franco Cross Dresses for Candy

December 29, 2010

There’s nothing James Franco cannot do.  The acting phenom had the best year to date playing a serial killer on General Hospital and staring in a critically acclaimed movie, 127 Hours, which has received Oscar buzz.  He added the title of ‘Cover Girl’ to his resume this Fall when he posed for fashion photographer Terry Richardson’s lens for the cover of Candy magazine.  James squashed rumors of him being gay to the Advocate but said he loved challenging roles, like playing Harvey Milk’s lover in Milk.
“Everyone thinks I’m a stoner, and some people think I’m gay because I’ve played these gay roles. That’s what people think, but it’s not true. I don’t smoke pot. I’m not gay…” he told the Advocate.

For those who don’t know what Candy magazine is, according to the website, it’s “the first fashion magazine ever completely dedicated to celebrating transvestism, transexuality, cross dressing and androgyny, in all its manifestations….Candy is a magazine for everybody.
