September 21, 2010

Those of us who are fans of Louis Vuitton’s iconic bags and wallets will be thrilled to hear that the brand has debuted a full jewellery collection, and will be launching a Paris store dedicated to watches and jewelry alone.

LV, under the creative eye of Lorenz Bäumer’s is currently debuting the “L’Ame du Voyage” collection at the 25th edition of the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris. Louis Vuitton will be unveiling no less than 80 pieces, including diamonds cut in the form of its monogram flowers.

After its big reveal, the bling will be hosted at the Paris Place Vendome store.

“This store, which is planned to open at the end of 2011, will allow us to become a major player in the world of fine jewelry. Our clients will have the possibility to discover the Louis Vuitton watch and jewelry universe – a universe which combines tradition and innovation and remains true to the unique know-how of our craftsmen,” said Louis Vuitton chairman Yves Carcelle.

We can’t wait to see this collection, which will no doubt be glitzy, timeless…and way out of our budget.
