I already consumed my entire issue of Harper's Bazaar with Cameron Diaz on the cover. The articles were insightful but the pictures got me dreaming of Fall once again. I loved Serena Williams looking feminine and sexy, bearing it all in a bathing suit. Cameron Diaz's kick ass interview and editorial shoot using the New York City skyline as her backdrop was drop dead gorgeous. What was even more gorgeous were the clothes the stunning actress wear in the glossy pages. I was itching for the camel MaxMara coat, Chloe jumpsuit, Gucci coat and Alexis Bittar jewelry.
What I also loved was Jessica Stam's spread themed Spanish Revival, shot in Seville. The Spanish influenced editorial is muy caliente with rich red hues, regal velvet, sexy lace and lavish leather in unexpected textures as eclectic and old world inspired as the Spanish architectural landscape. August issues are usually thin because the mother of all magazines comes out in September. Word on the street is that Harper's Bazaar increased its ad pages for the September issue by 12 percent; that makes it 302 glossy pages of fabulous fashion ads.
