What’s girlier than ruffles, well besides bows? Nothing. Ruffles have their staying power as they become more less flowy and more structured for spring. Notice how Stella McCartney meshed floral patterns with well defined and structured ruffles in her dresses. Who wouldn’t want to walk down the street feeling uber feminine in one shoulder ruffle dress on the right. I can think of a few shoes from Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo 24:7 collection and Valentino that would look fabulous with any of these dresses.
I’m dying to see what how lower end designers are going to interpret this trend since I can’t afford Stella McCartney, unless it goes on sale on Gilt Groupe.
