Flirtation with masculinity has been a big theme this season in fashion. From military jackets to over sized pants, lace up grungy boots, studs, sharp shoulder jackets and the notion of bigger is always better, fashion has come to full circle with the 80s raining supreme. French designer Baptiste Viry has captured my attention with his interpretation of androgyny in his military and dandy inspired accessories. I am obsessed with leather bow-ties and waist cinching wide belts in his collection. All of Baptiste Viry’s collection can be individualized for any style. The wide belts will look great with an A line dress or a high waisted skirt. Simple jeans and a t-shirt of button down and booties will be vamped up a bit more with one of these vests.
