When the boots came out the first time, most girls said they wouldn’t touch them with a ten foot pole. Well Mary Kate absolutely loved them and wore them everywhere she went, making them instantly stylish and chic. T
The boots were on Net-a-Porter for a while but as they say in fashion, one day you are in and the next you are out. The shoes were out of season but it didn’t stop the slews of fashionistas begging for a knock off.
Enter the Sam Edelman Zoe Harness boot that two years ago, which gave those crying to the fashion gods for a knockoff of the Balenciaga Harness Boots something to rejoice. The knockoffs immediately sold out and yours truly was among the masses of chicas who didn’t jump on the chance to score one of these. Even after all the brouhaha, scores of girls ransacked the pages of Ebay, clawing each other with their digital mice for a chance to win a pair of the Sam Edelman Zoe boots on online auction. To my surprise, the knockoffs went for upwards of $800. Wow! The label stopped making the boots when they sold out but decided once and for all to bring them back.
The Sam Edelman Zoe Harness Boots are back again, this time at a higher price of $345, because the folks at Sam Edelman know the power of supply and demand. I already placed my order for the boots on NastyGal but won’t receive it for several weeks. They are also available at Jildor for the same price. I can’t wait to get my hands on these boots to wear this fall.
