Diane Kruger goes chic and rugged

Diane Kruger has always been a girly girl. The actress usually opts for flirty mini dresses with sky high Louboutins or her go to fave, Chanel. To date, I don’t think she’s had one miss on the red carpet with her love of floor grazing vintage inspired dresses to blush and light colored frocks that compliment her milky complexion. I was surprised to see Diane do a complete 180 in the style department with an edgy all black tough and rugged look on the red carpet.

Her thigh grazing little black dress with a cutout shoulder is cinched at the waist with a thin studded leather belt, two black bracelets and the tough See by Chloé Wrap-Around Studded Leather Ankle Boots, $495. I had to do a double take to make sure it really was Diane Kruger. I am not sure if I really love this look on her but it does work, especially with the messy half-up half-down wavy coif. I mean a girl’s gotta change her look once in a while and have some fun right?

The See by Chloé Wrap-Around Studded Leather ankle boots are also available in white patent leather and Burgundy. These motorcycle style boots are part of the fall trends and if you’re not into rugged wear or motorcycle-inspired gear, it might not be worth it to spend almost $500 on them. At first glance they might be a bit intimidating but rest assured there are various ways to rock this style.

Black leggings, a billowy dress or top and a leather jacket will look absolutely fabulous with these boots. A thigh grazing dress with tights underneath and layered necklaces are also an option. You can even wear skinny jeans or boyfriend jeans, a vest and a t-shirt or button down for a hard rock preppy look.
