Summer is the time to show off those perfect gams and Gossip Girl starlet Leighton Meester takes the cake for looking fabulous in doing so. During her downtime off the set of Gossip Girl, the actress’ favorite thing to wear, it seems, are shorts. Not just any ‘ole shorts, I might add. Leigton goes for more dressier shorts that give her an air of sophistication.
Two of my favorite looks from her this summer are pictured below. The first is of her in military green scalloped Chloe shorts, which are no longer available at Net-a-Porter, paired with a romantic white blouson sleeved shirt and elegant braids in her hair. The second is a more casual Wayne Bubble shorts, which is still available at Revolve Clothing, paired with an asymmetrical top and Marc Jacobs bow-tied gladiator flats.
