Back in March, many of us fashionistas raved about Chanel’s A/W 09 collection, not because of the clothes, handbags and shoes, but because of the mint green nail polish lacquered on the nails of most of the models traipsing down the runway. After much speculation and anticipation, Chanel announced that it will be releasing the Peter Philips jade lacquer from the Fall 2009 collection.
The jade color is in production right now as I type is is set to hit the counters in October, with limited quantities available of course. All you nail polish lovers know that this nail polish is going to be a huge hit and I for one can’t wait to get my fingers err..nails…on a bottle or two.
The jade color will not be traveling solo ladies. Accompanying it will be a Jade Rose shade that will have those who didn’t get the news green with envy. Both colors will be available for a limited time only so once they’re gone, they’re gone. No resurrections from the Chanel vault for this one. I have a feeling Chanel fanatics will be lined around the block vying for a couple of bottles.
