Enough is enough with the harem pant or MC Hammer style pant trend. No matter how you slice it or accessorize it, one thing is still for certain, it’s plain ugly. I am not sure why designers have it in their heads that they can get this trend to stick. No mas! When Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney showed them in their spring 09 collection last fall, I was not a fan and neither were most fashion critics. Why does BCBG think they can continue with this harem fascination for fall 09? Whether it’s in a jumpsuit, pastel, sequins or plain cotton, harem pants should not be worn by anyone not living in the early 90s. It’s not legit so please quit wearing them or creating them.
