Sassanova to Celebrate Five Years of Sassy Shoes

September 11, 2008

It was only five years ago when Sarah “Sassy” Jacobs and Sarah Cannova opened the doors to one of the first designer and contemporary shoe stores in the heart of Georgetown. The two friends, who after realizing that footwear boutiques in the Washington, DC area was very limiting, opened up Sassanova to give Washingtonians a little bite of the Big Apple, where most fashionistas knew other shoes designers besides Manolo and Jimmy Choo. In just five years, Sassy and Sarah have opened up another Sassanova on the Baltimore Harbor.

To mark the anniversary of their fifth year of helping Washingtonian glamazons put their best feet forward, Sarah and Sassy are inviting their favorite clients to the Georgetown Sassanova (1641 Wisconsin Avenue, Washington, DC) to help them celebrate. My friend Sophie Pyle sent me the sassy invitation via snail mail – she loves sending invitations via mail – inviting me to help celebrate. Celebrate an evening of shopping, shoes, champagne and great savings – 25% off of your purchase. The event will be held on Tuesday, September 23 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Come check out the latest collection from designers such as Loeffler Randal, Elie Tahari, Moschino, Lily Holt, L’Amour, Oscar de la Renta, Tori Burch and many many more.

P.S. I wonder if the cameras will be filming Sophie and her pals sipping and shopping at Sassanova. The cameras have been following a few of the girls around for the new Lifetime television series The Girls of Georgetown. I might need to look extra fab just in case I show up on camera 😉
