Naomi Campbell Rallies Celebrities to the Runway for Relief

September 18, 2008

When she’s not wreaking havoc at airports or chucking cell phones at assistants, Naomi Campbell keeps busy with philanthropy. The supermodel hosted a charity fashion show, Fashion for Relief, to raise money for The White Ribbon Alliance last night in London. Campbell, who organized the show, used her power of influence to bring out some of the most influential celebrities and fashion icons to walk the runway. Vivienne Westwood, Chanel Iman, Kimberly Stewart, UK girl group the Sugarbabes, Cameron Diaz’ boyfriend, model Paul Sculfor and Monica Cruz took to the runway to raise money and awareness for pregnant women and newborns around the world.

Naomi walked the runway about three times in Yves Saint Laurent pant suit and a stunning Zac Posen peacock confection so breathtaking that one could not help but want to pet her. The dress which costs more than $45,000, was a gift from Naomi’s Russian boyfriend, Vladimir.
