The Look of Versace Spring Accessories

May 13, 2008

Versace’s spring accessories collection is in my top five for the season. The look of Versace is about vibrant hues of deep lapis, St. Tropez turquoise, vine ripened citrus oranges and jewel toned neutrals. What I love most about the collection are the textures of the accessories. From floral topped and cutout peep toe heels to textured croc clutches and handbags, the collection was all about drama and elegance. Here are some of my favorite looks from the spring collection. The shoes on the left are by far one of my favorites this season. The lapis blue is such a statement color. I love the floral detail on top of the t-strap sandal heels.

Whoever said all cluches are created equal clearly did not see the Versace collection. Check out this turquoise clutch with the braided handles.
These shoes are having an identity crisis. I am not sure if I should call them semi booties or pumps. All I know is that the cutout detail is so sexy and very in for the summer. The cutout theme is also evident in the clothing. Check out the dress on the right.
Mouth watering citrus orange is perfect for sun kissed skin tones of the summer.
This jewel toned olive bag and shoes are perfect for khakis and whites for the summer. Who says neutrals are boring? Not so says Versace. These safari inspired looks will get you everywhere. Best of all, you can transition this into the fall.
