No I am not talking about Rihanna’s album. I think I am on my way to the dark side with my choice of under things lately. Yes I said under things – so sue me. WARNING: Before you proceed to read any further, let me just tell you that you are about to discover some pretty intimate things about me and I am not talking about my social security number.
When it comes to underwear, I have three categories, the Victoria’s Secret panties for my daily workouts, Hanes for the period days (ahem), my naughty girl collection of Agent Provocateur and La Perla lingerie that I cannot live without. Yea you might laugh at the thought. A lot of women save their most expensive panties and bras for special occasions. THAT IS STUPID. If you bought it, wear it. I just ordered a couple of Agent Provocateur panties and bra sets because I just can’t get enough of their sexy line of lingerie.
If nothing else, wearing AP lingerie makes me feel so sexy. BONUS if a guy gets to see them. My friend Laura was so surprised by my underwear choices, she said, “WOW, you are naughty.” I guess I am in some aspects but always a lady first and foremost.
One more tip: Try to wear a slip under skirts and dresses. It is classy and sexy. Wearing a slip helps clothing drape beautifully on the body. My go to for skirts and dresses is this AP slip I got a couple of seasons ago. If you don’t feel comfortable buying lingerie online, just go to Coup de Foudre by Metro Center for a bra fitting. So ladies, spend money on good quality lingerie because they last a lot longer and look sexy and darling. Don’t fret, I included pics…not of me silly, but of the items I got. Spring is here so clear out your lengerie drawer and makes room for new ones. Remember to take good care of them by washing them in lingerie bags and only use gentle detergents.
