Project Runway judge and supermodel Heidi Klum is known for throwing the sickest Halloween bash’s this side of the Atlantic. The German blonde bombshell has an affinity towards dressing up in the most elaborate costumes at her annual bash. It seems like everyone wanted to get into Heidi’s party, which was held at Lavo on Sunday night. Aside from Andre Balaz’s party at the Boom Boom Room, hob knobbing with celebrities and socialites at Heidi’s table at Lavo was the “it” thing to do on Sunday night.
Of course Ms. Klum did not disappoint. She donned a larger than life robot costume, which she gave everyone a preview of days before the main event. She was hardly recognizable covered in purple glitter face and body paint. The only thing that gave her way was the fact that she towered a good five inches over her hubby Seal. Who do you turn to when you need a super swank costume? None other than Martin Izquierdo, the man behind Victoria’s Secret angel wings.
No one could really top Heidi’s costume and why would they? It was her party after all and the rule of thumb is that you never upstage the hostess. There were a slew of celebrities at the event but most blended in nicely in full Halloween garb. I spotted quite a few of them however, and snapped some photos to chronicle the experience.
