I've been a huge fan of Liberty of London fabrics, which my mom used to purchase in bulk when we lived in Ghana to make me cute little sun dresses and church dresses. Now as an adult, I indulge in the colorful pattern prints the British label and department store creates, often times in the form of collaborations. I bought every single print variation from the J.Crew/Liberty of London collaboration during the summer of 2008.
Liberty of London has done it again with another collaboration that everyone can afford and incorporate into their beauty routines. Starting March 11, 2010, M.A.C cosmetics will be stocking a makeup collection specifically designed in collaboration with Liberty of London.
The very latest in a series of famous M·A·C collaborations, it was only a matter of time before the demure-to-daring kaleidoscopic prints of Liberty of London coloured our world with Brit wit and bohemian chic. From the unstudied, Sienna Miller style of Spitalfields Market to the grit-and-glamour of Portobello Road, the swinging London girl has always been an unstoppable M·A·C makeup force! Spring 2010 insists on the ultimate flower fusion, with M·A·C joining forces with Liberty, creating cool Britannia compacts and Lipsticks, Eye Shadows, Powder, Blush, Nail Lacquers and, of course – blushing, bountiful, quite British accessories.
