The most coveted shoes this season were over the knee boots, Yves Saint Laurent Tribute Too, Proenza Schouler Wooden Heel pumps, Balmain Boots, Christian Louboutin Love shoe reinvented and a couple Lanvin pumps. In a fashion world where most celebs flock to Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik, we often times forget that there are other shoes designers with equally fabulous creations out there.
The first time I heard of Casadei was on one of my searches for Rupert Sanderson pumps on Ebay. I didn’t know much about the brand but absolutely loved the collection of well made Italian shoes. I bought a pair of pumps for $130 on Ebay and tried it out and fell in love. Earlier this year, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway and Eva Mendes got fashion tongues wagging in a pair of haphazardly high platform pumps.
The Casadei Double Platform Pumps have been turning heads on the runway on the foot of some of Hollywood’s chicest starlets. The silk satin stunner is the must have shoe to pair with little black dresses, cream evening gowns, sheath dresses and even high waisted trousers. Apparently the double platform make these shoes one of the most comfortable shoes to grace the red carpet. I guess I believe it, especially since Kate Hudson seems to have them in every single color made.
