As a dress lover for the past decade, my one mortal enemy is denim. Why? I have had a love hate relationship with jeans ever since I developed my curvy bottom area. For women with smaller waists but bigger derrieres, finding the right pair of jeans to fit our figures has been a challenge. I can’t tell you how often I’ve gone cried over ginormous gaping in the back of the waistband because I have to go up a size. It seemed like the market for nice comfy jeans did not target curvy women.

When will Seven jeans and True Religion make denim that fit curvy and pear shaped ladies? I won’t hold my breath on that since the skinny jean reins supreme and the only ones they look good on are super skinny girls.

Calvin Klein Body Collection of denim for the bootylicious gal. They’ve even snagged actress Eva Mendes as the face er body of the collection. Oh Calvin how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
The jeans have a stretch fitted waistband that hugs the waist thus eliminating that hideous gaping in the back of the jeans and creating a contour of the booty. They even went as far as switching the traditional jean pockets with angled engineered back pockets with a curved yoke back.
There’s more good news. The
Calvin Klein Body Collection Denim is sized from size 2 to 24. Yes ladies, even
plus size women can get the latest styles from Calvin. Oh and did I mention that the jeans are less than $100. Yup! You can look chic without breaking the bank.
