Erickson Beamon baubles now at Target

February 24, 2009

Karen Erickson and Vicki Beamon, the duo of Erickson Beamon, are part of an elite club; the First Lady’s style club. The young designers create some of the chicest baubles for the Michelle Obama (MO) and a slew of actresses and socialites but with a whopping price tag that is sure to break the bank of a normal recessionista like myself.

Target, the fast fashion giant, has collaborated with the costume jewelry duo to create an affordable line for its Go International brand. Erickson and Beamon are the fourth jewelry designers to create fab pieces for Target that the average American can afford. “The Target prices are about 10% of our regular prices,” say Karen Erickson. And she isn’t lying. A cuff from their high price line will cost you about $500. Yea! Too rich for my blood.

So fashionistas rejoice. You can have your cake and eat it too with colorful rings, broaches and necklaces too good to pass up. The Erikson Beamon line is affordable with a price point of about $25 to $50. This collection could not have come at a better time. Snag a couple to update your spring wardrobe.
