There are so many perks about traveling for long stretches of time. I get to explore cities in depth to truly get the local perspective. The downside to extended vacation stays is the abundance of content and the lack of time to post all of them. I was in Miami late April – early May and I still have several outfit shots and a travel guide to post, including this 80s inspired look from Eloquii. I took a break from monochromatic black and white looks for a plaid double breasted blazer dress for drinks with a friend while in Miami and later met up with my photographer friend Daniel to shoot the look at The Delano Hotel in South Beach.
This coat dress from Eloquii is very versatile because it works well as a stand-alone with heels for work or an interview yet can be dressed down with a silk camisole and skinny jeans. I’ve worn this dress twice, once in Miami and the other for a Remy Martin party in Manhattan, which I styled as casual as I could by pairing the blazer with a white tee, distressed black jeans and my Louis Vuitton love loafers.
I love the Prince of Wales check print of the dress, which will transition very well into fall. It’s currently too hot to wear it so I’ve shelved it for September/October and I hope it will still be available for purchase on Eloquii when I style it again. I promise to post the Miami travel guide by the end of the month but until then, get ready for all this France as I do recaps of my 20-day trip.
