Draper James x Eloquii Set / Tabitha Simmons Mules / Kayu Pinata Bag
Warm weather is officially in! That’s right, goodbye winter for GOOD. My mom used to love dressing me in matching sets when I was in elementary and middle school. Looking back I guess it was because it took the guess work out of coordinating an outfit to send me off to school. Needless to say, I hated it! I would pack a different top in my bag just to change into when I got to school because I felt like wearing a matching set was so juvenile.
Fast forward twenty something odd years and matching sets are back with a vengeance and chic as ever. Draper James recently collaborated with Eloquii one a collection. Though I loved almost every piece in the collection, I instantly fell in love with this matching gingham ruffle skirt and crop wrap top combo. A lot of brands are also shifting to this trend of creating pieces to mix and match to create a set. Eloquii has a lot of matching sets currently in its spring collection, as well as New York & Co. (love the Gabrielle Union collection), Privacy PleaseL’Academie and have some really cute styles at Revolve. I also love this lemon pant and cami set from Forever21 which comes in both regular and plus size. Zara also has so many coordinating sets that it created a page just for it.
