“I’m not into sweets. I like salty dishes better,” says Franck Boclet, Emanuel Ungaro’s men’s designer at the unveiling of his signature sunglasses-shaped pastry at the Hotel de la Paix restaurant in Paris. Boclet with the help of chef Laurent Delarbre created a fresh mint mousse, topped with a thin layer of black chocolate. Boclet’s design is part of the Café de la Paix “Designed by Men II” desserts collection, a collection of pastries designed by fashion personalities. Boclet’s design goes on sale in September.
