This fall is about Imperial Saffron! If you are in Louis Vuitton fan as much as I am, get excited. Starting in this September, the French fashion house will unveil brand-new packaging so beautiful you’ll want to keep them forever. Louis Vuitton has decided to swap out the brown boxes that house all their merchandise for new ones that are called “Imperial Saffron.”
The Louis Vuitton Imperial Saffron is an orange color with accents of blue. It’s not a new colorway because the brand has used safran impérial (Imperial Saffron) in products since 1860. It’s the first time since 2003 that Louis Vuitton is has overhauled its packaging. I think it’s a it’s a total win. Don’t get me wrong I love the old packaging with the brown boxes however the Imperial saffron box packages are beautiful and timeless. I love the blue accent cotton ribbons and the details on the outside the packaging.
The Imperial Saffron packaging will start rolling out this fall. You’ll first see it in the line of the new Louis Vuitton perfumes debuting this September, with a wider worldwide release shortly after. Word has it that Louis Vuitton will start the roll out of Imperial Saffron at the Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York August 15th.
According to the Louis Vuitton, the new packaging is more durable with a cotton ribbon handle making it more durable to transport but can easily fold and fit in your travel bag or suitcase.
