Are you ready for the cold weather? After several long weeks of being on the road, I finally got back to NYC completely cold and ready for warmer weather. As a coffee lover, the phrase, “but first coffee,” has never rang more true. The first thing I do is to drag my feet to my Keurig machine to make myself a hot cup of coffee. Since Saturdays are my lounge days and brunch days, I like to kick start the day with a stiffer cup of Joe. I have perfected my Irish coffee thanks to a few YouTube tutorials.
Irish coffee takes such little effort to make, yet it’s a way to welcome the cold weather in adult style. Follow these simple directions for the perfect cup.
- 1 Lavazza Perfetto K-Cup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (coconut sugar also works)
- 1 shot of whiskey
- 1/3 cup Half & Half
- Whip Cream to Garnish
Start by brewing a cup of Lavazza Perfetto coffee on the medium setting. Then add whiskey and brown sugar mix. Stir in Half and Half and then top with whip cream. Stir and enjoy under your favorite cozy blanket.
Gift your favorite person a coffee package, which I always love getting, from Lavazza. For fall, I am loving Perfetto, which to be honest is my favorite blend all year round. I love making special packages with a cute mug (initials or a phrase is best), a box of Lavazza K-cups, $11.99, and some cozy winter wear like fuzzy socks, a fuzzy blanket and one of my favorite pajamas from Adore Me.
