C.Wonder has partnered with GlossyBox on the limited edition patriotic themed June beauty box. To celebrate, they invited a select group of fashion and beauty bloggers to the Southampton home of founder Chris Burch for a day of pampering. Our morning started with a ride in a private Hamptons Jitney that was outfitted with yummy and healthy snacks from Nourish Snacks. Upon arrival, we were greeted with C.Wonder tote bags filled with goodies, including the Stars & Stripes printed GLOSSYBOX, and C.Wonder swag.

The Stars & Stripes GLOSSYBOX ($21) is available for purchase at GLOSSYBOX for the month of June but will also be at select C. Wonder store locations starting the the first week of July including Southampton (New York), Nantucket (Massachusetts), Lenox Square (Atlanta, GA), King Street, Charleston (South Carolina), Tysons Corner Center and The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City (both in Virginia).
We then made our way to the great lawn of the estate where Bulgari gave us a whiff of their new fragrance Omnia Indian Garnet, an enchanting perfume with a gorgeous orange and silver flacon and and absolutely beautiful scent composed of Mandarin, Saffron, Indian Tuberose, Osmanthus, Indian Woods, Amber.
We then made our way to the Montauk Juice Factory table for a tasting of the first cold pressed juice company on the island. Helmed by Madeline Murphy, this raw, organic juice company strives to provide locally sourced ingredients. Everything comes from within a 100-mile radius of Montauk or is purchased from women-owned businesses. Now how rad is that?
Their juice menu is perfect for the Hamptons with something for everyone. Partied too much and your skin is getting the brunt of those Fireball shots? Grab a bottle of Detox (celery, green apple, pineapple, coconut water, lemon, dandelion root extract and burdock root extract) or Hyrdrate (watermelon, mint and hibiscus extract). Have you been noshing on one too many Montauk Beach House burgers and fixins? The Green Mama (cucumber, spinach, celery, parsley, kale, dandelion, swiss chard and liquid chlorophyl) will give you a good dose of nutrients. There are eight juices on the menu, plus the introduction of potent shots to enhance your juice. These will cost you extra.
Montauk Juice Factory has also partnered with the Montauk Beach House to provide juice for guests and party goers. So if you find yourself drained after a day of sun bathing and swimming, order yourself a juice to refresh.
Continuing on our health journey, we made a pitstop at Skin Inc., the customizable Japanese skincare line that allows you to customize your serums. There are currently 9 kinds of serums for you to choose from, depending on your skin problems:
- Reborn – Collagen
- Reinforce – Ceramide
- Renew – Coenzyme 10 (has healing benefits)
- Regenerate – Vitamin A
- Revitalize – Placenta
- Replenish – Hyaluronic Acid
- Repair – Pycnogenol (extract of Pine bark, has anti-oxidant properties)
- Relieve – Licorice (fights redness / rosacea and has whitening benefits)
- Regulate – Vitamin C
All the serums are paraben-free and fragrance-free, contain 100 per cent active ingredients encased in capsules to maintain freshness and effectiveness. These caviar-like capsules burst upon contact with the skin, delivering high-performance active ingredients into the skin. We also got mini facials from their skincare experts on site.
After our facials came makeup touchups from tarte cosmetics, whose Amazonian clay foundation I am obsessed with. Their new blushes are infused with Amazonian clay, a nutrient-rich, multitasking and total-skin-balancing clay that reduces dryness and flakiness, improves skin clarity, elasticity, firmness, and texture while removing oil from the skin’s surface for smooth application and wear. The Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush comes in 18 gorgeous shades to compliment different skin tones. They also had their best selling cheek stains, which I have yet to try but have heard great reviews of.
We rounded out the day with lunch catered by Shindig Events & Catering, who made us a lovely spread of lobster rolls, Cobb salad, Caribbean grilled shrimp, popcorn and strawberry shortcake. It wouldn’t be a shindig without cocktails, which included refreshing mojitos and Figenza, a new fig flavored vodka, cocktails, as well as refreshments.
A special thanks to C.Wonder for the relaxing day away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here’s to a good summer and relaxing poolside somewhere as fab as Chris Burch’s house.
