Since getting that little teaser of nail polishes from the Marc Jacobs fall 2013 runway show, we’ve all been obsessed with the designer’s foray into the makeup world. He’s partnered with Sephora on a 122 piece collection that launches August 9th. As you know, both Sephora and Marc Jacobs are own by LVMH, so it makes sense for his makeup to be exclusive to the beauty boutique.
The products in the Marc Jacobs beauty collection is divided into four categories: Smart Complexion (foundations, concealers, and powders), Blacquer (precision eyeliners, lash lifters, and gel crayons), Hi-Per Color (lip products, blush, eye shadow, bronzer and nail lacquers) and Boy Tested, Girl Approved (a unisex lip balm, brow tamer and concealer).
Foundations and eye palettes will range between $45 and $60, while lipsticks, blushes and more will retail around $30. Keep on the look out during the weekend of July 19th for a five piece teaser collection at Sephora. Marc Jacobs himself will make a personal appearance at the Sephora store in SoHo on September 5. The beauty collection will also be available at 50 Sephora shop in shops in J.C. Penney stores.
