Beyonce kicked off her Mrs. Carter World Tour this week and gave us fresh to def realness when it came to the costumes she wore for her gyrations and high octane note belting. Instead of having one designer create her costumes, a la Rihanna’s Givenchy costumed tour, Mrs. Carter got several of her favorite designers to create confections fit for Sasha fierce. Starting with a custom beaded leotard by Ralph & Russo with beaded epaulets and sheer paneling at the bust and bottom, she really set the tone.
Next she came out in a gold bedazzled long sleeved leotard with beading and a daring breast and nipple chest plate (sorry couldn’t think of any other way to describe it) designed by none other than The Blonds.
