Italian shoe maker Bruno Magli has partnered with costume jewelry brand Mawi on a capsule collection for Pre-Fall 2013 and we’re elated. The jewel tone colors and gem encrusted shoes and handbags don’t land in stores until May-June but the 14-piece collection is turning heads already.
Bruno Magli’s creative director Max Kibardin said he fell in love with Mawi Keivom’s beutiful bijoux and decided to try out a collection that is a bit different from the footwear brand’s aesthetic yet still loyal to its DNA. The result, bold colors like fuchsia and teal, animal prints and textures like pony hair and silk. Clutches will retail for $1,875, earrings for $300, shoes for $1,100, bracelets for $450 and necklaces for $500. Start saving now ladies, because come June, we’ll all have fancy feet.
