Yowza! Taylor Swift gets my award for most improved on the red carpet for 2013. The Tennessee songbird ditched her ethereal J. Mendel gowns for sexy Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad confections for awards season and the switch is paying off big time. For the 2013 Brit Awards, held at the O2 Arena in London last night, Taylor killed it on the red carpet wearing a black Elie Saab Couture gown from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection.
The gown, which had sheer panels on the skirt as well as the shoulder was the perfect statement maker. Thank heavens for her stylist, whoever she is. Cinching the waist was a skinny gold belt that really pulled her entire look together. Of course her new bangs were perfectly coiffed. She let the dress speak for itself with minimal makeup and her bangs perfectly coiffed.
