The DKNY girl has never been afraid of color, and lots of it, so it’s no wonder the brand’s fall 2013 collection is chock full of it. The collection included reds, pinks, hints of oxblood, beige, grey and blacks. Pieces included color-blocked dresses, boyfriend blazers in feminine colors, ferocious leopard in browns and pinks, asymmetrical maxi dresses draped over trousers and fur trimmed over-sized jackets.
The collection kept true to the brand’s urban heritage but with a cool aesthetic. Sweatshirts color-blocked with leather inserts looked sophisticated when paired with tapered trousers, A-line dresses, also trimmed with leather and worn with cool letterman jackets, and quilted jackets. We swooned over the footwear, which included leapard pumps and boots, buckled booties and black knee high boots.
